Preschool ClassesOur preschool program offers classes for two, three, and four year old's. Children are encouraged to develop a positive self-image in relation to themselves, their peers, and adults by interacting with students in individual classrooms carefully designed for each age level. We adhere to a developmental program, placing our emphasis on allowing each child to master skills when they are ready. The curriculum encourages children to develop their verbal and motor skills at their own rate and to have fun at the same time.
2 Year Old Program (Drop-off)
The toddler program is an introduction to school for a two year old. Learning how to successfully play with others and function as a group are two primary components of the program designed to build toddler confidence in an engaging and socially stimulating manner. Sessions are comprised of free play and structured segments such as circle time and playdough. Colors and shapes are introduced at a pace that makes learning fun and memorable. 3 Year Old Program
The three year old program is all about listening, thinking, playing, and enjoying preschool. Active class participation and peer interaction are encouraged as a means of building social skills. Classes follow a daily routine that includes small group instruction, circle time, art, puzzles, and free play. Early literacy skills are strengthened through books and Scholastic Weekly Readers while hands-on activities hone fine motor skills. The alphabet and numbers are taught via age appropriate discussions and activities. 4 Year Old Program
The Pre-K program uses the Creative Curriculum as its instructional basis. The emphasis is on kindergarten readiness both socially and academically. Critical thinking, creative expression, and experimentation are fostered while building confidence with age appropriate school skills and concepts. Each day, students experience centers such as science, kitchen, blocks, art, and games. Library day, journals, and the countdown to the 100th day of school are among the many highlights of what will prove to be a special year. *All activities, programs, special events and schedules are subject to change. |
