Kindergarten Enrichment ProgramThe Kindergarten Enrichment Program at Nauraushaun Nursery School provides an individualized and collaborative experience for kindergarten-age children attending half-day kindergarten. Our program is focused on reinforcing, as well as expanding on the kindergarten curriculum in a fun and engaging manner. We use a center-based learning approach that allows our certified teachers to give individualized instruction, while fostering independent learning skills in preparation for first grade. Children learn through fun, in a friendly and nurturing environment.
Program teachers take a collaborative, team approach with each child’s kindergarten teacher. Identified strengths and weaknesses are addressed in the enrichment classroom during the course of the year. Homework support and one-on-one instruction are some of the many ways teachers provide specialized attention to each child. Center-based small group work and teacher led discussion play an important role in instruction and concept mastery. Teachers give updated feedback to the parents regarding their child’s progress throughout the year. Program Highlights
